Directions to the Sail Loft, in the Swan Public House:

From the A13 - Take the turn off posted Horndon on the Hill. At the roundabout above the A13 take the exit marked for Horndon on the Hill (B1007). Follow the B1007 road for about 3/4 of a mile; it will bend slightly to the right. On this bend there is a turn off on the left posted Horndon on the Hill. Take this turn of and follow the road up the hill. The pub is on the left, up at the top.

From the A127 - Take the exit posted for Dunton (Ford have an establishment there). This is the B148. Approximatley 50 metres along this road there is a set of traffic lights. Go right here. You will then bend around to the left and be on a reasonably straight, but narrow, road. Follow this road to the very end (you will go under a rail bridge that involves a blind entry to it so please take care!). At the end of the road turn right. You will now be on the B1007. Follow this road for a short distance, less than half a mile, and you will see on the right a turn off posted Horndon on the hill. Take this turn off and follow the road up the hill. The pub is on the left, up at the top.
